Firstly, it’s a big warm Hello from all of the team here at First4Blinds & Interiors and welcome to “The Blog”! We are a really rather enthusiastic bunch when it comes to the improvement of your interior space through the fitting of new blinds or curtains. So, we felt it would be good to share a little bit more of the excitement with you through our Blog which will run in collaboration with our Social Media pages and keep you updated with all the slightly lint covered goings-on here at First4Blinds & Interiors. Plus, we love to be as helpful as we can be, (often after our first morning coffee!) so do keep an eye out for articles giving you the guidance you need to get fabulous results inside your home or corporate space, with all the offerings of our comprehensive Boutique, Design Studio and professional fitters.

So to kick off our article, let’s share today’s top news that we have a got a few extra names to add to our ever-evolving library of designers… Swaffer, James Hare, Troynorth, Osborne & Little and Nina Campbell for Osborne & Little will be settling in amongst the sample books just waiting for you to take a look. All five collections are British bred and Swaffer is even based not too far across the county border in the nearby Cathedral City of Peterborough. As fond as we are of all our designers, we do love to support long standing British design houses in our Showroom and allow you to bring them into your homes or corporate space.

Besides just their origin, it would be handy to have a slight inkling towards knowing the aesthetics these designers and their collections are bringing to your interior decor schemes. With that in mind let’s just for now discuss James Hare. The collections on offer go beyond just that of the divine silks they are reputably known for, as a leading specialist of silk production. There are collections to suit not just a quintessentially classic English country home but also that of a modern contemporary feel. Embroidered and Jacquard fabrics inspired by the adventures of female Victorian travellers across far-flung lands give life to whole collection in itself. Then take the stark contrast to a collection of textural velvets showing the versatility just a single colour can give when light is allowed to manipulate the soft pile of a luxury velvet. James Hare as a design house built on the ethos of having a precious reputation and family pride meaning that their fabrics and wall coverings are ensured to be up to “sterling worth”. And for that reason, we are so excited to be able to stock James Hare.

Should you wish to come and see our collections besides just that of James Hare in our Design Studio, no appointment is necessary. The kettle is always on and sample books and design advice at the ready. However all fitting, measuring and home consultations regarding new blinds and curtains need to be booked in advance either over the phone or when you pop in to see us. If possible we may be able to fit you in the very next working day.

We very much look forward to helping you to create a home or you enjoy and is of your design. Follow the Contact Us to link to get in touch. We hope to see you soon!
